Rose in a Garden

For this project, I used Autodesk Maya to create a detailed 3D model of a rose. I started by modeling the petals from a simple plane, using texturing and softening tools to add intricate details. The stem was created from a cylinder, extruded and refined with edge loops to shape the leaves.

I then textured and colored the petals, using the UV disassembling process to edit them in Adobe Photoshop. For the stem and leaves, I manipulated textures directly in Maya. To add depth, I used a SkyDome with a sunset HDRI, casting warm reflections on the petals. The final render was done with Arnold Renderer, and I added a garden backdrop in Photoshop.

This two-month project allowed me to develop my 3D modeling and rendering skills, making it a truly rewarding experience.
